Significance
Fort Harlech is the only remaining blockhouse of the 5 built around Krugersdorp during the Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902.
Fort Harlech overlooked the Krugersdorp Concentration Camp, which at its peak held up to 6 000 Boer women and children.
